Filming Summary

Summary of events on the day of filming:

·         Unfortunately, due to financial problems Connor was unable to take part in the filming process. This was bad news as Connor was going to be the camera man, but we have said that he should be more involved with the editing process now instead.
·     Patrolling car park officers were friendly and we were advised to keep to a certain part of the car park. I felt that they were accommodating and helpful. We wore visible clothing so they would recognise who we were.
·         We first ran into trouble trying to get the tripod completely balanced, no matter what we did that yellow bubble would not stay in the centre!!
·         Lighting the interior of the car was not ideal, as we did not have access to 'professional' lighting. Instead, we used a smart phone that had a powerful built-in torch, which worked well for us (cheap and compact!).
·         Stacey, Georgia and I all used the Sony Camera to film at some point and we helped each other set the white balance and focus, then quickly re-cap on how the camera works. At the time, we thought we had done this well, but looking at our material, we have some unusable footage because of camera issues (i.e. out of focus shots).
·         The weather was MUCH colder than expected, and it was difficult to expect Georgia to lie on the ground for as long as our time sheet expected, so we tried to work efficiently as possible for that scene.
·          Even though we ran into lots of small problems I think we dealt with it extremely well and worked excellently as a team. There was no awkwardness with the introduction of Adam Lloyd our actor, whom Stacey and Georgia had never met before. The friendly atmosphere between everyone, I think, really contributed to the success and efficiency of filming the teaser trailer.
